Floating

It is ridiculously hot here at the moment 100 deg F thats 38 of your very sensible metric celsius. In order to survive the heat we hit the river for the up and coming extreme sport of floating. This fast growing activity involves acquiring a bunch of cheap rubber boats or inner tubes and a cooler full of beer, and then floating for 3 hours down the river, through the occasional bumpy water bit |(rapids in technical speak). It is a fairly redneck activity, lots of coors light and pick up trucks, and I was totally unaware of the fact that you can even by coolers that float such as this one. I was handicapped by the fact that our awesome rubber craft did not have cup holders so paddling and holding the beer was very difficult, and as a consequence our navigation skills were severely impaired.
