Vanity Fair Edits Palin's Resignation Speech
James Kellerman
Vanity Fair has taken the transcript of Governor Palin's resignation speech and given it to their literary editor as well as the copy and research departments.
The result is fascinating. The speech is a perfect example of just about every poor literary practice imaginable. The edits are brutally effective and very educational.
Had this been a creative writing class I am pretty sure Palin would have received an F.
