Knackered

Well that didnt start too well, completely shattered this morning, not too bad at work but it was ugly at 7am, I am hoping this gets easier. For the record 6:15 mins sleep, felt like crap when I woke up. Anyone wants a Ford Ka with 50,000 miles on it or a Sony GDM-FW900 24'' Widescreeen CRT monitor I have one of each for sale.

I'm back, if you care

Well I have been on vacation for three weeks, and am back in the UK very slowly adapting to the time and terrible customer service. Got to try to get back on with mmy sleep experiment and get back down to 6 hours or less. Increasingly more important as it is only 6 weeks before I leave for Singapore and there is a lot to do. Current fascination is with the US election, I find it hard to believe the support for George W, but then Kerry seems to be doing his level best to lose the election. Keeping an eye on instapundit.com for my daily dose of political intrigue.

So far so good

With two nights under my belt with 6 and 5 hours sleep respectively, I have to say that its going very well. If anything I am feeling less tired than usual during the day and early evening. Getting up is pretty difficult, requiring all my determination but once up things definitely get better.

Sleep Less

I love my sleep; maybe a bit too much. Particularly the bit in the morning after the alarm goes off and you hit the snooze button, thats luxury sleep. So for the next week or so I am goping to attempt to get into a rhythm of sleeping for no more than 6 hours. I will let you know how I got on. Ill, spent the day feeling crap, didn't go to work didn't do anything useful, did read a lot of Murakami, Dance Dance Dance. P.s it only costs £11.00 to send an 11kg transformer via royal mail.

Dogshitterwants

I should probably explain where the name for this site came from and give thanks to some very inspiring people at the same time. Starshun is a word used in the surreal but fantastic dogshitterwants cartoon, it cannot really be explained only experienced, you may never be the same again. Well anyways it was enough of an experiene for me to name my site after it. The cartoon is currently being shown on MTV2 in the UK at some absurd hour of the night, so if you cant sleep and need a hit of super surreal high energy animation with a whole new lannguage thrown in, check it out.
